TrippTavern  > The Tripp Tavern > The Old Tripp Tavern
Let me give you a little history on the Tripp Tavern. About five or six years ago our first house in Colorado somehow got the name. I don't remember exactly how the name came to be, but it kind of stuck. Well since we left Colorado to move to California we had to find a new Tripp Tavern which is what you see below. At first we called our new house Tripp Tavern West Coast, which has since been shortened back to just plain old Tripp Tavern. We think it has a cozy, welcoming sound and invite you to all enjoy the pics!

TrippTavern > This is not the Brady house, it is the Tripp Tavern.
TrippTavern > Another shot of the front of the Tavern. There is no place like home...no place like home.
TrippTavern > Come on in. Oh wait, you're already in the front entryway. This is all original from when we moved in. We love the tiles, and the door color is ok...I guess.
TrippTavern > This is the kitchen...this is where all the magic happens like they say on MTV cribs.
TrippTavern > We remodeled the kitchen a year ago Christmas. We kept the solid wood cabinets, but gutted and replaced everything else. Can you find Kona in this picture?
TrippTavern > The countertops are granite and all appliances are stainless. The sink here looks out to the front yard.
TrippTavern > This shows the 2 biggest changes we made. The hood has been raised about 8 inches to open the room more. We also added the bar behind the new gas range which really makes the workspace feel larger and gives us more storage for the "good stuff".
TrippTavern > Are we still in the kitchen? Anyone getting hungry yet?
TrippTavern > This is the view from the stove when I am cooking. That is the dining room and it actually lets in a lot more light than it appears here.
TrippTavern > This was taken right after we painted this room giving it a more relaxed, tranquil feel. I also installed the light fixture recently.
TrippTavern > ...and now for a little mood lighting.
TrippTavern > We recently added this picture and some new candles. Look at all the flowers for Connor.
TrippTavern > This is the back of the family room where we spend too much time watching TV. I took the 3 pictures on the wall on a trip down to Big Sur last summer.
TrippTavern > Welcome to the long hallway. On the left is our family photo wall, and on the right is a beautiful painting of a Lake Tahoe view done by Lisa's Grandfather.
TrippTavern > ...and a look from the other end of the hall.
This is not the Brady house, it is the Tripp Tavern.
